Anakin Skywalker is one of the most powerful Jedi knights to ever live and makes appearances in “The Phantom Menace,” “Attack of the Clones,” “Revenge of the Sith,” “Return of the Jedi,” “The Clone Wars,” as well as multiple television series.

Anakin is the husband of Padmé Amidala and the father of both Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa. Anakin was discovered as a slave in Tatooine by Qui-Gon Jinn, who tested his blood and discovered that he was the most powerful Jedi ever. Anakin was trained by Obi-Wan Kenobi then became a Jedi Knight and General of the clone army during the clone wars. Anakin was then groomed by Palpatine and he joined the dark side; as Obi-Wan Kenobi tells Luke, Anakin was killed by Darth Vader.
